Date: April 21 & 22
Constellation: Lyra
Rate: 20 meteors per hour
Time: just after midnite
The Lyrids are an average shower, usually producing about 20 meteors per hour at their peak. These meteors can produce bright dust trails that last for several seconds. The shower will peak this year on April 21 & 22, although some meteors are usually visible from April 16 - 25. This year, a waning crescent moon will create only a slight distraction, but most of the meteors should be easy to see. Look for meteors radiating from the constellation of Lyra after midnight.
how to find constellation of Lyra?
u guys must look north of nite sky and spot Vega, the brightest star in that constellation.

yeap..boleh nampak.
xperlu teleskop, blh nampak dgn mata kasar...
contellation lyra tu terletak arah utara. nk cari dia agak senang la, sebab dlm contellation tu ada bintang yg terang (yg kelima paling terang di langit) bernama vega.
so, sis perlu locate bintang yg paling terang arah hemisfera utara...
ye eh boleh nmpk..nnt nak tgk la..
sila2...
ni meteor shower yg kedua tahun ni selepas geminids, pada januari lalu...
wow weee..bleh amik gambar ke???clear ke klu dr malaysia tgk??
yer blh nampak
amek pic, kalau ngan kamera biasa x nampak la bro, sbb speed lyrids tu laju.
kekerapan dia pun x byk, sekitar 15-20 meteor sejam je...
